My wife wanted eggs this morning, and I wanted to try something new. Actually a couple of new things. So normally, I cook my scrambled eggs in a non-stick skillet without any fat in it. Not sure why, but that’s how I’ve always done it. Probably some low fat nonsense I heard way long ago and never really thought about. Anyway, this morning, I wanted to cook my eggs in some butter. I also didn’t put any milk in them, like I normally do. Just a small pinch of grated cheese, and away we went. Holy crap they turned out well! I can’t believe that I’ve been missing out on that all this time. So now, I’m never cooking my eggs without butter. Seriously. I also tried some of my new hot sauce on them and that was tasty, but the eggs really didn’t even need it. I’m so happy I finally tried this. Why didn’t someone tell me how wrong I’d been doing it all this time? I guess I just need to do more stuff in front of people so they can judge me properly.
Also had some more blueberries and some walnuts. That was also quite tasty. You may notice I’m eating a lot of blueberries. For one thing, I’d been eating fruits that were sorta light on nutrients by comparison to the dark berries, and I wanted to remedy that. Also, I got a big raft of blueberries at Costco and the wife doesn’t like them, so it’s a mad dash to finish them before they go south on me.
I think that’ll do it for now. Thanks for reading!
